Bryston is pleased to announce the first proprietary Class D Amplifiers.
One of the concerns with Class D design is the power supply section typically utilizing a ‘’Switching’’ supply. When you system runs out of what is called ‘dynamic headroom’ it often clips, adding distortion to the signal and deflating the sonic energy in the music. Bryston Class D Amplifiers use large ‘LINEAR’ toroid power supplies and large filter capacitors with our proprietary Bryston designed Class D amplifier modules to remove any hint of dynamic compression. This combination of a huge toroidal transformer and lots od storage capacitance means you have usable power many times the continuous rated power and that results in dynamic and distortion free listening.
FLEXIBILITY
The Bryston class D amplifiers use a common chassis with the option of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 independent Class D modules.
