Studio Gosh Audio Vienna

Mar 3, 2003

Gosh! Studios in Vienna has upgraded its Studio A monitoring, installing PMC BB5 monitors and Bryston 7B monobloc amplification, supplied by PMC Austrian distributor AviTech.

PMC was selected to upgrade the largest of Gosh!'s three production rooms following studio owners, Stephan Kolber and Harald Sulzbacher experiencing PMC monitoring in a neighbouring facility.

"We heard the product in another studio and were very impressed and excited by them," says Kolber. "We subsequently tested them alongside almost all the currently available main monitoring systems in Studio A and came to the conclusion that the PMC system was the best one for our usage."

Founded in 1996, Gosh! relocated to new spacious facilities in 2001, with three production / control rooms, including Studio A, the 45 square meter main mix room, tied to a 60 square meter live recording room. The studio services commercial clients as well as providing in-house writing and production facilities for Gosh!'s own commercials and music production company. Recording media and production platforms include Studer analogue multitrack, Pro Tools™ 24, MOTU, Digital Performer and DigiDesign systems.
